Industrial town with Tata Motors, semiconductor projects and Ahmedabad's most affordable family homes.
About Sanand
Sanand is best known as an industrial hub. The Sanand GIDC estates host automobile plants including the Tata Motors facility that built the Nano, a large number of component suppliers and, more recently, semiconductor assembly and testing projects. That job base is why demand for rental homes is steady: engineers, supervisors, contract staff and their families need housing within a short ride of the factories. Beyond the factory gates, Sanand is also a traditional town with a railway station, a busy market, clinics and schools.
For tenants Sanand is the most affordable name in our service area. A 2 BHK typically rents for ₹8,000 to ₹13,000 a month and a 3 BHK for ₹12,000 to ₹20,000. Row houses with private parking are common and often rent for less than a flat in Bopal, and owners near the GIDC estates are used to company leases with modest annual increases.
Commuting depends on where you work. If your job is in Sanand GIDC, you can live within ten minutes and skip city traffic entirely. If you work on SG Highway, the drive is 40 to 50 minutes via the SP Ring Road, which works better for hybrid roles. Weekend trips are easy: Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is about an hour away, and Bopal's malls are 30 to 40 minutes. For people employed at industrial and semiconductor units, Sanand is the practical, low-cost option with employers on the doorstep.

FAQ
Answers from our team at TRP Mall, Bopal — minutes from every area we cover.
A 2 BHK in Sanand usually rents for ₹8,000 to ₹13,000 a month, and a 1 BHK for ₹5,000 to ₹8,000. Company-leased flats near the GIDC estates are common, and many owners offer long leases with modest annual increases.
A 3 BHK flat or row house in Sanand rents for about ₹12,000 to ₹20,000 a month, significantly lower than equivalent options in the Bopal belt. Row houses with private parking sit at the top of the range, and deposits are usually two to three months of rent.
Yes. Sanand GIDC hosts automobile, component and electronics employers, and newer semiconductor assembly and testing projects add to the demand for housing. Rental demand is therefore steady, though it depends on the health of the industrial sector.
Shela and South Bopal take about 30 to 40 minutes via the SP Ring Road, and Iscon Cross Roads on SG Highway about 45 to 55 minutes. Sanand works best for people whose workplace is in Sanand or who commute to the city only occasionally.
The Sanand–Sanathal belt benefits from the SP Ring Road and from industrial and logistics expansion, and an expressway towards Dholera is planned from this side of the city. Timelines change, so verify the current status with the authorities and rent on today's connectivity rather than on projects that have not started.
